Soedara the Best boots EVER.. and .. Heart Attack Mac & Cheese

So about 6 years ago I found my favorite pair of thigh high (yes thigh high) flat boots all pretty with rope and fur and what not, or at least as pretty as sculpty boots can be.  Gosh, remember sculpts?  How mesh has made them obsolete.  At any rate, I’m a little snot when it comes to boots and for ages I’ve been on the exhaustive hunt for the ‘perfect’ thigh high boots.  FOUND THEM!  And so excited about it I could just about squeal.  Soedara has also put out yet another pretty camisk style piece.  I’m a bit slow on posting about it, it’s been out for awhile.

OH!  And we almost forgot the Heart Attack Mac & Cheese …

Every Thursday night at my house is ‘bachelor night’, my boyfriend’s single guys come over and I feed them a home cooked meal.  This week it was Heart Attack Mac & Cheese .. if you’re at a loss as to what to make tonight for dinner give it a try!

1 pound large elbow macaroni (cooked and drained)

1/2 Cup Butter

1 3/4 Cups Whole Milk

1/2 Cup Flour

1 Cup Sour Cream

1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese

1 Teaspoon White Pepper

1/2 Teaspoon Dry Mustard

4 Cups Shredded cheddar Cheese (16-20oz) – I use Sharp Cheddar and a Cheddar/Mozzarella blend and a bit more than 4 cups.

Diced Ham (as much as you want)

Melt butter, stir in flour and heat until it bubbles and stir in milk

Add Parmesan, sour cream, salt, pepper, and dry mustard.

Cook over medium heat till thick and bubbly

Add ham!

Stir 1/2 the grated cheese into the sauce

Stir 1/2 the grated cheese into cooked/drained macaroni and put in a buttered (or sprayed with cooking oil) casserole dish

Pour the sauce mixture over the macaroni/cheese mix and Bake

350F for 30-45 minutes
